Izonso 2010

From 29 of august until 5 september i went with the Dutch branch of the WFA to the former front of the Isonzo.
Here was it that there where 12 battles along the sixty mile long valley of the Isonzo [Soca] River between the Austrian-Hungarian and Italian armies.
And where in october 1917 the Italian front collaps after the battle of Caparetto [Kobarid].
